These terms govern your use of the Watzle Chrome extension and related services (the “Service”) provided by Watzle (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
1. The Service
Watzle is a browser extension that works together with WhatsApp Web. It helps users send personalised messages from their own WhatsApp account to people they choose, schedule sends, set up auto-replies and report on results. Messages are always sent from the user’s own account and computer.
Watzle is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by WhatsApp, Meta Platforms, Inc. or Google. Your use of WhatsApp is subject to WhatsApp’s own terms.
2. Accounts
- Features that need an account are used by signing in with your Google account. You are responsible for all activity in your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old, and if you use the Service on behalf of a business you must be authorised to bind it.
- The information you provide must be accurate.
3. Plans and payment
- The Free plan has no end date and has daily usage limits (for example 100 messages a day).
- The Pro plan is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription. Current prices are shown on our website and in the extension. VAT or sales tax may be added depending on your country.
- Payments are processed by Paddle.com. Your card details never reach us. Paddle issues your invoice.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period for the same length, and is charged to your saved payment method, until you cancel.
- Price changes apply to an existing subscription only from the next renewal and after we have told you in advance.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time in the extension under “Manage subscription”. After cancelling, Pro features stay on until the end of the period you paid for; then your account moves to the free plan. Unused time within a period is not refunded. Under Paddle’s buyer terms, consumers may exercise a right of withdrawal by contacting Paddle within 14 days of their first purchase; Paddle reviews and decides on these requests. Details in the Cancellation policy.
5. Acceptable use
Watzle is designed for businesses to communicate with people who know them and agreed to receive messages. When using the Service you agree not to:
- send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) to people without their consent, or message bought or scraped number lists;
- promote fraud, phishing, misleading content, gambling, or illegal products or services;
- send harassing, hateful or obscene content or content that infringes the rights of others;
- keep messaging people who asked not to receive messages (for example by replying “STOP”);
- process personal data in breach of applicable law (including KVKK, GDPR and electronic commercial communication rules);
- reverse engineer the Service, bypass quota or plan limits, or disrupt our servers.
You alone are responsible for the content of your messages, for your recipients’ consent and for compliance with applicable law. WhatsApp may restrict or close accounts under its own rules; we have no control over such decisions and cannot be held responsible for them.
6. Suspension
If we reasonably suspect a breach of these terms (for example a spam complaint), we may suspend or close your account with prior notice or, in urgent cases, without notice. Accounts closed for breaching these terms are not compensated for the remaining subscription period.
7. Your data
Your contact lists, messages and reports are stored on your computer; our server keeps only account and usage counter information. Details in the Privacy policy. You are responsible for backing up your local data; you can create a backup in the extension’s settings.
8. Intellectual property
The Watzle software, brand and content belong to us. As long as you follow these terms, we grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for personal use or your business’s internal use.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”. Some features may stop working temporarily because of changes to WhatsApp Web; we try to fix these within a reasonable time. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or data, or account decisions made by WhatsApp. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time and will announce important changes in the extension or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of the Republic of Türkiye have jurisdiction; consumers keep their right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts.
